"Skittles
and Teresa are doing great! Teresa's new name is Violet, but we kept
the name Skittles. They get along really well and love playing together.
They have a lot of new toys that definitely keep them occupied for
hours. Skittles is sitting with me as I type this. He says "Hi!" to all
of his friends at Mary's Kitty Korner. Violet is sitting in the window
checking out the neighborhood.
"They are both
wonderful cats and we are very lucky to have them. Violet is a love! She
is very affectionate and sits in my lap every night. She did have a
sinus infection, so she has been on antibiotics and nose drops for a few
weeks, but is doing much better.
"Skittles is such
a nice cat! I'm surprised that nobody adopted him before. He was a
little shy at first and mostly stayed upstairs, but now he is more
comfortable.
"I have been
telling everyone that going to a no kill shelter is a great way of
choosing a new cat. It give us the chance to spend time with the cats
and choose the right ones for us. Skittles and Violet have been a joy!"
