Cats of the Week: Fat Cat & Trouble

These two boys are nothing like what their names imply, they are sweet, lovable, mushes! They love to be brushed, petted and kissed. They are a bonded pair and must go together, so please don't ask us to split them up.

They are waiting for their forever home and don't deserve to be at our shelter, as they are pure housecats that will show their appreciation readily! Come visit them at our Granby location.

Happy Tails: 3/5/12

Happy Tails: Merlin & Harry

"Merlin and Harry are now "Bubba and Jethro". They rule the house and seem very happy! They both are very playful and still love being with each other. I love watching their little routines everyday. It starts with trying to wake me up, eating and then all hell breaks loose! They wrestle together and run around the house chasing whatever they can find to play with, then they nap and start allover again. Bubba is the leader and the more affectionate one. I hold him often, they are both so friendly I cannot believe it!! Bubba is the one with the thinner face and Jethro has the bigger eyes and rounder face. It took me awhile to be able to tell them apart. They are eating dry and can food and love to eat!!

"I had a problem with sleep deprivation before I decided to keep them out of my bedroom at night, they wanted me up all night playing with them. I am still getting up much earlier but love them so much it doesn't matter to me.

"They are exactly what I wanted personality wise and are very healthy also. It ended up being a good match for everybody.Thank you for the excellent job you do trying to find homes for these wonderful little beings!!!"

Happy Tails: 2/29/12

Happy Tails: Rocky & Jerry
"Little Blue kitty is officially out and playing (translate bugging Jerry). Here are a couple of pictures of the little devil. Thanks again for expanding our family."

Happy Tails: Precious & Pumpkin

"Precious settled in quickly. She is a joy – friendly and affectionate. She loves to play for hours chasing her toys from room to room. Pumpkin is getting there – slowly but surely. He stayed under the bed for the first 3 months whenever I walked in the room. I kept the door closed when I wasn’t home so he felt safe.

"In December he finally came out when I was in the bedroom feeding him. Then he started venturing out – exploring room by room. Now I leave the bedroom door open and he has free reign of the house. He will stay in a room with me and follow me around the house, but I can only pet him on his terms. The progress is tremendous, but he still has a way to go. I am so glad the two of them have each other. They get along so well."
