Happy Tails: Esther
"She is doing just fine.  We've had no problems from the minute she came into the house.  Esther loves everybody and likes to cuddle with everybody.  She is very active and runs around the house like she is on fire.

"The only time she gets sleepy  is right after her bowl of Fancy Feast (she really, really likes that stuff).  She is definitely a 'keeper'."

Cat of the Week: Smocky

Smocky is a very lovable and soft 8-year old beauty queen. She has an energetic attitude towards life and will go to any extreme to get people to pet her. Often she follows people around the shelter and loves to rub up against you until you pet her.

She gets along fine with other felines, but will always beat them to the punch when it comes to grabbing a human's attention. Drop by our adoption center in Granby and visit Smocky... she'll be glad you did (and so will you)!

Smocky is up to date with her shots and has been spayed.

Cat of the Week: Nancy

Nancy has the sweetest round face and a cute body to match! She is a great cat, gets along well with other mellow cats and loves to lay on her back with all four paws stretched high in the air. Now that is a relaxed kitty if I ever saw one.

When she wants attention, Nancy will twine around your feet, rubbing against your leg and looking up into your face.

Nancy is a very healthy girl and is waiting for her new home at the Granby Shelter.

Nancy is spayed and up to date on her shots.

Happy Tails

Hi remember me- Dillon? I am in my new home thanks to someone who was looking for a big, vertically challenged cat to love. I am so thankful he picked me! I spend my days lying around- and lots of sleeping!

I also like to watch the birds fly around right outside the window- they go to the tree, the feeder, then back to the tree- it is great! Downstairs I watch the chipmunks and squirrels run across the patio and they do not even know I am there!

My four step sisters (Peanut, Zoe, Minnie and Matrix) have been welcoming. Matrix has been the last to accept me - she has been afraid of me- I can't understand why, maybe it is my size?? Little does she know I am a big teddybear and will just love her.

Magoo is quite the character. He is so cute and has a very active personality. He gets along well with other cats and will do well in a family environment with children over 10 who can play with him and keep him busy.

Come visit this cute guy and interact with him, you will know right away if he is the boy for you!

Magoo is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.

Happy Tails

"Hi, Just a quick update on Spirit and Sky. The ladies have adjusted very well. They both sleep with me at night. Spirit greets me at the door when I get home, "Queen" Spirit waits for me to go greet her and give her a treat.

"They still are a little timid with strangers but got along well with my grandchildren, I actually got a little jealous when Sky was loving my granddaughter, Patricia, so much. But I know we have bonded well because they both will come looking for attention and tend to follow me to any room I'm in for any length of time."

Cat of the Week: Cuddlecake and Penelope

Penelope & Cuddlecake are a mom (tortie) and son (tiger) pair and would like to remain together.

The name, Cuddlecake fits him to a tee. He has a purr that won't quit, and REALLY wants you to pat and cuddle him. In return he will nuzzle and cuddle you right back. Cuddlecake is a handsome, lanky tiger - young, playful and energetic, with a lot of affection to share.

Mom, Penelope, is a bit more sedate and quiet, but equally affectionate, and loves attention and brushing. She loves windowsills and will give a little call out the window to see if anything answers.

This sweet pair will make wonderful additions to the right forever home. They are both at our Granby shelter, so stop by this weekend if you'd like to meet them!

Penelope & Cuddlecake are up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
